One of the key features of the Hompes Method functional medicine training programmes is the vast array of pre-written supplement protocols to address specific findings in your client/patients’ functional laboratory test results.

Specific protocols are included for:

  • Anti-parasite activity
  • Anti-fungal activity
  • Anti-bacterial activity
  • Disrupting biofilms
  • Improving stomach, intestinal, pancreatic and liver/gallbladder function
  • Gastrointestinal repair
  • Probiotic and immune support
  • Specific detoxification requirements (e.g. phase I and phase II of liver)
  • Kidney support
  • Nutrient replenishment (amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals)
  • Improving cellular energy production
  • Adrenal support
  • Thyroid support
  • Sex hormone support (in both males and females)
  • Neurotransmitter support
  • Anti-inflammatory support
  • Antioxidant support
  • Heavy metal detoxification

…and more.

Each protocol is available “UK” or “North American” versions to make accessing the specific products and protocols as simple as possible for you and your clients.

I have also taken care to ensure that the protocols are accessible for you if you practice in Europe and Australasia.

The protocols are presented in plain Microsoft Word format so you can brand them with your own name or company logo.

Here are some basic examples for you to check out:

Gut Mucosa Repair: this protocol would be used to help repair damaged stomach and intestinal tissue.

General Liver and Gallbladder Support: this is a general protocol for supporting the liver and gallbladder function – I typically use this protocol alongside protocols to eliminate bad bugs from the gut, as it reduces “die off” or |Herx” effects.

Insulin Resistance Support: Insulin resistance is a precursor to type II diabetes. This protocol helps to improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar levels.

General Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) Support: Menstrual problems are epidemic in western society. There are several ways to help ladies overcome these symptoms, including bioidentical hormones. However we typically begin with herbal protocols such as the one below, in conjunction with nutrition and lifestyle modification, liver and gut support.

General Andropause Support: Men as young as 35-40 can experience the symptoms of andropause, body fat increases, and muscle mass, sex drive and confidence decline. Thankfully we have some excellent strategies to help guys in this situation.

Stomach Cleanse: This protocol is used to help people who have been diagnosed with H. pylori as an augmentation or alternative to triple therapy antibiotics.

Remember that over 50 specific protocols, just like these, are included in the Hompes Method Functional Trainings.
